The Sketch
Every piece begins as a sketch — proportions calculated by hand, templates refined over hundreds of iterations.
The Hide
We source only hides that pass our inspection: full-grain Horween, Rocado, Italian veg-tans, Shell Cordovan from Chicago.
The Cut
Patterns are placed by hand to follow the grain. Skiving, beveling, slicking — each edge is worked to a finish.
The Stitch
Saddle-stitched with waxed linen thread — a stitch that holds even if one thread breaks.
The Edges
Edges are sanded, dyed, slicked, and polished with beeswax until they ring clean against the bench.
The Pack
Sealed in a linen pouch, boxed with care. The unboxing is part of the experience.
